What is MMA?
In conventional lash glues, PMMA (PolyMethyl Methacrylate) is commonly added to cyanoacrylate to control viscosity and enhance adhesion.
During this process, MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) can be generated when PMMA is dissolved into a liquid state.
MMA has been associated with eye and skin irritation, such as redness, itching, or allergic reactions, and is regulated or restricted in some countries.
To meet higher safety expectations, BL has developed MMA-free glue lines, offering options for clients with heightened sensitivity—without compromising on performance.
